Calvin Stengs has joined Antwerp on loan (without an option to buy) this Tuesday evening.

After the Netherlands and France, the 23-year-old Dutch international winger will discover the Belgian league. An agreement has been reached with Royal Antwerp FC, currently 2nd in the league after 5 wins in as many games played, for a season long loan.

Stengs arrived from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2021 and scored his first goal for OGC Nice at St Etienne two months after his debut in a friendly against Kiev. During his 32 appearances for the club, he also provided a wonderful assist for Andy Delort in the 1-0 win over PSG in March. He also opened the season at the Allianz Riviera by scoring the only goal in the final friendly against Torino.

The club hopes that he will have an excellent season.
