Welcome Mattia Viti
OGC Nice is very happy to announce the signing of Mattia Viti from Italian club Empoli.
An Italy youth international, Mattia Viti will now wear the Rouge et Noir colours. OGC Nice is delighted with the signing of a talented central defender who embodies both the present and the future.
At 20 years of age, this tall (1.90m) player completed his entire youth academy training at Empoli, with whom he played 22 games in all competitions last season, including 20 in Serie A. A strong left-footed defender, a good passer and tactically astute, the Tuscan is ready to discover the Ligue 1 championship as well as European under Lucien Favre.

This afternoon, Mattia Viti will be at the OGC Nice Village (17:00 – 21:00 on the Promenade du Paillon) together with the club's other summer signings for an autograph signing session, so come and give our newest Aiglon a proper welcome.
