The 2003-born attacking midfielder is officially a new Aiglon, whose precocious talent has blossomed in his native Romania.
The creative right-footed 19-year-old, who usually plays wide left in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, made 60 first-team appearances for Rapid, scoring nine goals and providing 12 assists. He helped the iconic club back into the top flight, establishing himself in the side.
A Romania youth international, Rares (1.83m) is a rare talent with big potential.
