All eyes on Jeff
Jeff Reine-Adélaïde was a victim of a “big injury” said Adrian Ursea after he came off on a stretcher in the final few moments of the derby in Monaco (2-1). “We still don’t know the nature of the injury. We’ll get the results tomorrow morning; we’ve got our fingers crossed even though the first impressions don’t seem too positive. We’re giving him all our support and energy”.
“The whole dressing room was devastated” said President Jean-Pierre Rivère to Canal +. Honestly it was quite shocking. I didn’t see the pictures and I’m not a doctor but when I see my players like that it doesn’t look good”.

The midfielder also gathered messages from Nice supporters, teammates, ex-Aiglons and other clubs.
During the press conference Monaco manager Niko Kovac showed his support to the player on loan from Olympique Lyonnais: “Of course we’re happy to have won the game, but Jeff Reine-Adelaïde’s injury is also on our minds. I hope it’s not a bad injury. I say that on behalf of the club and all of our players: we all wish him a speedy recovery onto the pitch”.
OGC Nice would like to thank every single person who’s shown their support to JRA and wish him a quick recovery. Stay strong Jeff!
