OGC Nice would like to provide clarification on the subject of the Allianz Riviera pitch, the condition of which proved problematic during Les Aiglons' match last Sunday. It was materially impossible to change the pitch in the week following the last match of the Rugby World Cup played at the Allianz Riviera (Sunday 24 September).

However, the City of Nice undertook to proceed with the replacement as soon as the Brest match was over, and had all the time required for the operation. The Mayor has now honoured this commitment, and we thank him warmly for it. Against Marseille (Saturday 21 October), OGC Nice will be able to count on playing conditions that live up to its expectations and ambitions.
