OGC Nice and Clermont Foot have reached agreement on a loan (without purchase option) of Lucas Da Cunha (20) until the end of the season.

Lucas Da Cunha made five first-team appearances for Rennes before joining OGC Nice in September 2020. This is his second loan move following a successful spell at Lausanne-Sport during the 2020/21 season (28 matches, 6 goals, 1 assist). The attacking midfielder will finish the season at Clermont Foot, currently 16th in the Ligue 1 table after 21 games.

Now in the charge of former Aiglon Pascal Gastien, Lucas Da Cunha will have the chance to further his French top-flight education, which totals 12 appearances including 10 with Le Gym this season. In the red-and-black shirt, the Roanne-born left-footer tallied an assist in the 3-0 win at Saint-Étienne on 25 September.
