Welcome Justin!
OGC Nice are delighted to announce the Justin Kluivert’s signing, as he arrives on loan (with option to buy) from AS Roma.
In Nice, the memory of the double header against Ajax automatically reminds people of him. He caused the Nice defence real problems with his speed and dribbling skills in a duel that eventually turned to the advantage of the Aiglons. Justin Kluivert, 22, is now preparing to wear the rouge et noir jersey for the first time in France. The attacking midfielder will play under Christophe Galtier, with the aim of using his talent and dynamism to help the team.
The son of Dutch football legend Patrick Kluivert, Justin completed his training at Ajax, a giant of European football. He went through all the levels at the club and made his professional debut in the 2016-2017 season. He made 56 appearances for his hometown club (13 goals, 10 assists), 12 fewer than with Roma, whom he joined in the summer of 2018.
In Italy, the Dutch international (2 caps) made 68 appearances in all competitions, scoring 9 goals and providing 10 assists.
A regular in European Cups, the winger played for RB Leipzig last season. He played 27 games for the third-placed Bundesliga side (4 goals, 1 assist).
OGC Nice would like to welcome him!
