El CommanDante had a smile on his face on Saturday at the Allianz Riviera. At the ground to support his teammates in the derby, the Brazilian congratulated them in the dressing room after their excellent victory over OM (3-0). Congratulations that continued on social media, where Dante posted a strong message in the evening.

"We have received a lot of criticism recently, which have been deserved given our performances, admitted the captain on his Instagram account. But today, it was a special day for all of us, and I want to congratulate you all for this win which will do us and the supporters the world of good. In life, we can lose matches, but never lessons and given our spirit today (yesterday), I am delighted by the progress we are making and the way we performed on the pitch. The wins will guide us on the right path and we will not let off. We will continue with the same attitude and we will have lots of good results between now and the end of the season. Dante had got the derby going

The defender, who continues his recovery work following his knee injury, had got the derby going slightly earlier in the week, as he relived his debut in Red and Black. It was 11 September 2016. Les Niçois secured an excellent victory over Les Marseillais (3-2). The last one… That is until yesterday!
