Quartet out against Bordeaux, Lees-melou is back
The latest from the treatment room two days before Sunday's game against Bordeaux kicks off the second half of the league season.
As well as Dante, whose recovery continues, three midfielders will be on the sidelines: Danilo, Morgan Schneiderlin and Rony Lopes. The Portuguese will be missing "two or three weeks," said Adrian Ursea in Friday's press conference. "We'll see how things go. The shorter it is, the better for him and the team because he's a very important player for us. I was very satisfied with what he did against Metz, even if certain aspects of his game can improve. He had a few little niggles during the game, but nothing worrying. It was the day after the match that he felt the pain."
Good news, though, for Pierre Lees-Melou, who is off the injured list. "He's been back in full training since the start of the week. He'll definitely be in the squad," said the Nice coach. Following successive injuries to his ankle and wrist, the number 8 hadn't made a L1 appearance since 28 November (Nice 1-3 Dijon).
