William Saliba is your Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the game against Metz (1-1). WIth 43.2% of the vote, the centre-back came home ahead of Youcef Atal (29.1%) and Amine Gouiri (21.2%).

His last-ditch saving challenge on Thierry Ambrose in added time capped a great performance, and — in his second game in a week since his arrival — showed he has hit the ground running on the Côte d'Azur, and is living up to expectations following his loan move from Arsenal, completed only last Monday. In the middle of a back three alongside Flavius Daniliuc and Stanley Nsoki, the former Saint-Etienne man showed his quality, winning 80% of his duels — 2nd only on the night to Atal (81.3%) — and completed 88% of his passes.

Atal was able to make a significant impact on the right flank, giving Metz left-back Thomas Delaine a torrid night, while also carrying out his defensive work dilligently before being replaced by Jordan Lotomba for the final half-hour.
