Medical update
Schneiderlin injured, Dolberg available
On Saturday, OGC Nice head to stade Saint-Symphorien in Metz in Round 19 of L1 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).
In his press conference held on Friday, Adrian Ursea indicated that Morgan Schneiderlin will be absent for "it would appear 3-4 weeks". "Morgan injured his calf. It hampered him during the match at Brest. But it was at the end of the game, when his body started to cool down, that he warned us of it. It's another serious blow for us, for the team," regretted the Nice coach.
"We need to cope with it and find solutions. He's part of our spine, just like Dante. We've also been missing Kasper for quite a long time. When the spine isn't there then things aren't as straightforward. But it represents an opportunity for those competing for the place," concluded the coach, who was able to announce the return of Dolberg: "He will be in the squad at Metz."
