Here is the medical update before Le Gym travel to Angers on Sunday (Matchday 9 at 3pm).

Two members of Patrick Vieira’s squad will miss the trip: Stanley Nsoki and Danilo. “For Stanley it’s not as serious as we first thought, explained Patrick Vieira, who was forced to replace his defender at half-time during the match against Beer-Sheva (1-0 victory on Thursday). It’s a little issue with his adductor, he won’t be out for long.”

On the other hand, the coach explained that the lay-off time for the Brazilian will be: “A bit longer. We will need to see how things evolve in the next 48 hours. He picked up an injury during training a couple of days ago. It’s frustrating because we see him working on a daily basis as he tried to return to the squad and to compete for his place in midfield. Unfortunately, it’s a step backwards but there are still a lot of matches to come. I hope that he will be back in action as soon as possible, so that we can be even more competitive.”
