After two successive loan spells, midfielder Jean N’Guessan will continue his career at FC Metz.

Having come through the ranks at Racing Club Abidjan, N’Guessan joined OGC Nice in the summer of 2021. After being loaned out to Swiss Super League side FC Lausanne-Sport in 2021–22 and then to Ligue 2 outfit Nîmes Olympique in 2022–23, the Ivorian is set to get his first taste of French top-flight action with the club from the Moselle department, who were promoted to Ligue 1 at the end of last season.
