Centre-back and RC Abidjan academy graduate Ange Ahoussou has left OGC Nice to join Pau FC.

Ahoussou is set to take his burgeoning career in a new direction, as, having initially been loaned out to FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, the defender saw his loan spell terminated through a mutual agreement between OGC Nice and the Franche-Comté side. The Bouaké native will now get his Ligue 2 experience at Pau, joining the team that has been in France’s second division since 2020 on a permanent transfer.

After arriving in Nice in January 2022, Ahoussou spent six months playing for Les Rouge et Noir’s reserves before going out on loan to National 1 outfit LB Châteauroux last season.
