Thanks to Justin Kluivert's fifth goal in all competitions for the club, OGC Nice defeated Angers 1-0 on Sunday to register a 14th win in their 25th outing of the league season. It's a feat only achieved once before this millenium since the return to the top flight in 2002/03.

That was in 2016/17 when Lucien Favre's men had 15 victories after 25 games, finishing the campaign in third.

After beating Angers for the fifth time in their last six meetings (1 draw), Nice now have the second-highest tally of wins in the division, bettered only by leaders Paris Saint-Germain (18).
