Squad
'Reassuring' for Dolberg and Lotomba
Kasper Dolberg limped out of the derby draw with Monaco on Sunday after barely 15 minutes, but Christophe Galtier gave reassuring news in Tuesday's press conference even if the Denmark international striker will miss Wednesday's league game with Lorient.
"Kasper took a blow to a knee," explained the coach. "He hurt himself three weeks ago and had to miss the Bordeaux game. He got hit in the same place, which provoked a sharp pain. The tests that have been carried out are reassuring. There's no lesion, twist or stretching of the ligament. It's a knock, but he will miss tomorrow's game. The aim is for him to be available for Saturday against Saint-Etienne. We're still not sure if he will be. Today, he started working again individually. We'll see how much pain he has."
There was even better news for Jordan Lotomba, also forced off with injury in the 2-2 stalemate at the weekend.
"We feared he had a calf strain, but we've really been reassured by the tests that have been carried out. It's a little stiffening of the muscle after he got a knock in the game. He's available for the squad to face Lorient."
