OGC Nice are delighted to announce the signing of Flavius Daniliuc. The 19-year-old defender arrives from Bayern Munich.

After arriving on the Côte d’Azur at the start of the week, Flavius Daniliuc successfully underwent a medical before signing his contract. The medical also included tests for COVID-19 along with the usual checks.

The U19 Austria international has now been able to put pen to paper on a deal with Les Aiglons. He arrived at Bayern's youth academy at the age of 14 having left Real Madrid, and is a powerful centre-back (1.88m) who captained the German champions' U19 side. He also played four times for Bayern's reserve team last season.

Used to playing in the UEFA Youth League (the youngsters' version of the UEFA Champions League), Daniliuc has chosen Le Gym after being convinced by the club's project.

OGC Nice are delighted to have signed such a promising player, one they have been following for a number of seasons. The club will do all it can to help him take steps forward and exploit his potential and qualities to the maximum.
