On Wednesday, Stanley Nsoki and William Saliba celebrated Easter with the Restos du Coeur charity as part of the club's 'Gym Solidaire' initiative that aims to help the underprivileged throughout the year.

After Jeff Reine-Adelaïde's visit, the Restos du Coeur (Restaurants of the Heart) welcomed two other Aiglons this week in William Saliba and Stanley Nsoki to their city centre base on boulevard Vérany. "If we're here today, it's to make those families who don't always have an easy life happy," said Saliba. "We wanted to give them a little boost and lot of courage."

The two defenders arrived fully stocked. After meeting the volunteers, the pair distributed Easter eggs before signing autographs and posing for pictures. "We really wanted to do something to make the kids and their families smile. It makes us happy to make them happy," said Nsoki.

"We've been working hand-in-hand with the Restos du Coeur as part of the Gym Solidaire programme for many years," said Virigine Rossetti, the club's Communication & Brand Director. "They're a partner that works every minute for the underprivileged, a partner we're very proud of. It's totally normal for us to contribute what we can alongside them when an opportunity like this presents itself."

A lot of the families present came to obtain vital foodstuffs, showing the situation remains critical. "In these difficult times, it's good to feel supported," said Dominique Damougeot, a volunteer in the Restos du Cœur 06 centres. "After Jeff Reine-Adélaïde a few days ago, it's really great to welcome Stanley [Nsoki] and William [Saliba] to the Restos du Cœur. Thanks to a donation from the OGC Nice Donation Fund, some 2000 families have been able to enjoy these Easter eggs. The club also did the same thing last year. We've been paired with Le Gym for nearly 10 years, and — in normal times — collections of foodstuffs on matchdays and other initiatives are organised within the Gym Solidaire programme."
