Medical update
Dolberg uncertain at Saint-Etienne
Here is the medical report ahead of Saint-Etienne - Nice (Round 7 of L1, Sunday at 17:00).
"Dolberg tried to train this morning"
Forced to come off in the match between England and Denmark last Wednesday in the Nations League, Kasper Dolberg "tried to train this Friday morning, to touch the ball and do some changes in direction," explained Patrick Vieira 48 hours before the trip to Geoffroy-Guichard. "He felt some pain and has gone for an MRI. We're waiting for the results."
The attacker was forced to leave his team-mates on the half-hour following Maguire's dangerous tackle.
Danilo and Boudaoui on their way back
"Hicham (Boudaoui) and Danilo are available," sais the Nice coach. "They've been out for a long time and they don't have 90 minutes in their legs, but we'll see tomorrow whether they'll be in the squad."
News of Atal, Claude-Maurice and Reine-Adélaîde
Currently working their way back to fitness, Youcef Atal and Alexis Claude-Maurice (thigh) continue to work apart from their team-mates. "They should be back with the squad on Tuesday," said the coach.
Jeff Reine-Adélaîde (calf) is also carrying on his individual training sessions accompanied by fitness coaches. "He's not ready yet," clarified Patrick Vieira. "He's still on his way back. He has started working with greater intensity on the pitch. He'll undergo tests on Monday and if the situation continues to evolve well he will be able to train with the squad at the end of next week."
