His first month in Rouge et Noir and now his first honour. After scoring two goals in four matches, Kasper Dolberg takes the title of Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Month for September with 40% of the vote.

Arriving on the Côte d'Azur on 29 August, Kasper Dolberg has now played four games at the head of the Nice attack, starting each of them. The Danish centre forward opened his account with a goal after just 106 minutes, during the visit of Dijon (2-1 victory). Perfectly assisted by Ounas, Dolberg nipped in front of the goalkeeper to score his first goal at home for the club. He repeated the feat one week later when LOSC came to the Allianz Riviera (1-1), but this time he concluded with a pulled shot into the back of the net.

A goal that led him to be named Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Match by Le Gym’s supporters for the first time.

Alongside the Scandinavian forward, Youcef Atal picked up the support of 22% of the fans that voted. The Algerian rocket secured the victory for his side against Dijon (2-1) with a powerful effort that was perfectly placed. Arnaud Lusamba takes third place with 16% of the vote. The midfielder put in excellent performances throughout the month and even picked up an assist for Dolberg’s goal against Lille (1-1).

Trophy to be presented against Paris

Kasper Dolberg will receive his trophy for Aiglon of the Month at the Allianz Riviera before the match against Paris Saint-Germain (kick-off on Friday 18 October at 8.45pm). A supporter chosen at random in a prize draw will present him with his award beside the pitch at the end of the warm-up.
