Decisive on several occasions against Monaco, Walter Benitez was voted Crédit Agricole Aiglon of the Match with 38% of the vote. He beat Allan Saint-Maximin (27%) and Adrien Tameze (21%) to the title.

The party could have been even better for the number 40, who, with perfect reflexes pushed away a header from Badiashile (51’). Unfortunately, the ball had just crossed the line just after the break. The numbers are particularly revealing. The goalkeeper stopped 80% of the opponents’ efforts, with a total of 4 saves. 

After getting the opener following a successful battle with Jemerson (30’), Allan Saint-Maximin didn’t stop running  and caused the defence endless problems with his running. With 34 touches during the match, the French youth international could have won the game for his side, but saw Benaglio save his penalty (77’). Finally, solid in midfield with 79.5% pass completion, Adrien Tameze completes the podium.
