Dante signed a one-year contract with OGC Nice on Thursday, 13 February. The 2025-26 season will be our captain’s tenth in Rouge et Noir.

Against Lens, on Matchday 21, he reached the milestone mark of 300 matches with Le Gym, breaking into the top 10 of the most club’s all-time appearance makers. Dante produced another stunning performance on the left side of central defence, as if to prove that history is even more beautiful when it is actually being written.

At 41 years of age, the captain shows no signs of slowing down. He is as strong as ever, as important as he’s ever been, and still ambitious, for himself and the club. And since there was never any question about his future, why not answer it immediately: Dante will play for Nice in the 2025-26 season. It will be his tenth season wearing the most beautiful shirt in the world. The last chapter of the most magnificent story.
