Fabien Caballero joins OGC Nice as Deputy Director of the academy in charge of recruitment.

General manager of the Olympique Lyonnais academy since the arrival of Pierre Sage on the first-team staff in November 2023, after having been a recruiter at OL since 2018 and then head of recruitment for the Les Gones academy, Fabien Caballero explains his arrival at Le Gym: ‘I was attracted by the OGC Nice project. There are some big goals for the coming years and a lot of interesting things are being put in place. The club really wants to start a new cycle in terms of the academy and I'm delighted to be at the beginning of this renewal. I'd like to thank OGC Nice for their confidence and OL for all the great years we've shared.'

'Talks were very positive from the outset,’ explains Julien Sablé, Director of the Rouge et Noir academy. President Rivère, Fabrice Bocquet (General Manager) and Florian Maurice (Sporting Director), who knew him at Lyon, were all very quick to put us in touch. ‘Fabien is a great professional. We share the same vision of training, the same goals, and we have agreed on the means to achieve them. It's up to us to do everything we can to bring as many players as possible with the club's DNA into the first team.'
