Louchet makes the difference
He almost scored the goal of the year at the Allianz Riviera, but his long-range shot hit the crossbar 10 minutes from half-time. He also made a goalline clearance early on to deny the visitors the opening goal.
On the right of a four-man defence, Tom Louchet had 70 touches (only Bombito 79, and Diop 80 had more), and was at the centre of so much that Nice did well. He was awarded 7-out-of-10 by both Nice-Matin and L’Equipe, the best mark in the team ahead of Badredine Bouanani and Gaëtan Laborde.

PRAISE FROM THE COACH
“He’s playing games, and is getting better and better,” said Franck Haise. “When I look at the data, I think I’ll see that he made a lot of effort again. That there was lots of running as well as being good technically and in his game intelligence, and also defensively. It was a very good performance from him and he’s stringing those together.”
