Off the field

It's been a busy week for the youth academy players, who have also been called upon to help out in the community, taking part in a major food drive organised by the Food Bank, which mobilised volunteers and citizens from all over France.

As part of OGC Nice's educational and social project, a number of young players from the academy worked alongside Food Bank volunteers on Wednesday 27 November. They took part in sorting the food collected, learning about the organisation behind the scenes and the importance of solidarity in the face of food challenges in their community.

To prepare them for this experience, the President of the Alpes-Maritimes Food Banks, Tony Amato, had had visited the academy to raise awareness of the reality of food insecurity and the impact of their actions.

Finally, the annual school graduation ceremony also took place this week, honouring the young players on their results.
