Le Coq Sportif and OGC Nice unveil the Third Kit for the Club's 120th anniversary.

The 120th anniversary of OGC Nice, celebrated on the Côte d'Azur since 9 July, continues to excite fans and is now the occasion to launch an exceptional Third Kit. Following a Home Kit that won hearts and an Away Kit marked by Heritage, Le Coq Sportif and OGC Nice today present a Third Kit that returns to the club’s origins with a colour scheme that immerses us in history. At its founding in July 1904, Gymnaste Club de Nice's colours were blue and black. It wasn’t until September 1919, with the merger with Football Vélo Club, that red and black were adopted.

Through the reinterpreted stripes and the monochrome gold logos of its Third Kit, OGC Nice pays homage to its illustrious past with both sobriety and distinction, while looking towards the future. This connection between yesterday and tomorrow is woven through a launch campaign featuring three current players (Melvin Bard, Youssoufa Moukoko and Tanguy Ndombele), alongside two renowned former Aiglons, Roger Jouve and Frédéric Gioria.

In tribute to the past, the traditional red and black stripes have been replaced with a predominant blue colour. The black stripes that adorn the kit are highlighted with a sublimation process.

To celebrate the club's 120 years and in harmony with the Home and Away Kits, the colour "gold" adds brilliance and prestige to this kit, recalling the club's glory years. The embroidered emblems “Le Coq Sportif” and “OGC Nice,” as well as the “Issa Nissa” inscription on the back of the collar, also enhance the kit with their golden hue.

The embroidered signature label at the bottom of the kit, “OGC Nice, 120 years,” is another characteristic of the Third Kit. The club's name is anchored between the founding year (1904) and the anniversary year (2024). Finally, a golden crown, symbolising victories and a historical past, also adorns this element.

A HOME REVEAL

Les Aiglons will exceptionally wear the Third Kit at home on Friday 20 September. This special event, for the 120th-anniversary match, will allow Nice supporters to see the new kit against Saint-Étienne at the Allianz Riviera.

The products will be available from Wednesday 18 September at 10 AM on the websites of Le Coq Sportif and OGC Nice, as well as in the OGC Nice store at Place Masséna in Nice.
