Last Sunday, OGC Nice defeated Angers 4-1 in Ligue 1. One of the key contributors to Les Rouge et Noir’s victory and goalscorer in the 25th minute, Hicham Boudaoui, was injured in an incident just before half-time.

While he gritted his teeth and played on, the ‘Prince of Bechar’ underwent various tests on Monday that revealed he is suffering from a strained medial ligament in his left knee.

As a result, the midfielder will be sidelined for several weeks.  

OGC Nice will be with him every step of his rehabilitation to ensure he is back on the pitch as soon as possible.
