OGC Nice is pleased to announce Melvin Bard's extension until 2028.

He is an integral part of Nice's dressing room, and is now linked to the club until 2028. Having arrived in the region in the summer of 2021, Melvin Bard (23) has enjoyed three full seasons in the red-and-black jersey, including an outstanding performance last season. An academy graduate of Lyon, Melvin has played 117 games for Le Gym, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists.

Demonstrating an exemplary mentality in the dressing room, the left-back, who was suspended at Auxerre but started against Toulouse and Angers, is relishing this new Rouge et Noir horizon: "I am deeply attached to OGC Nice. Even though in my mind there's never been any debate, I'm happy to see that the club has shown its confidence in me through this extension and that we're looking to the long term together. We've been through a lot and we're going to go through a lot more.  I hope I can help OGC Nice to be successful and I hope we can win a title together, for the club and for our supporters."
