Antoine Mendy extends his contract with OGC Nice and is now linked to the club until 2028.

Like Evann Guessand, he is a child of the Gym, having joined the club at the age of 10.Like the striker, he is a player the Club is counting on a lot, both this season and in the future.

The powerful 20 year old Antoine Mendy signed his first professional contract with Le Gym in the autumn of 2022. 3 weeks after signing, he debuted in L1 at Auxerre (1-1, 16th October 2022). The U20 international gradually found his feet at this level, now with 30 appearances to his name: "I'm very happy and very proud of this extension," says the player who started the first 2 games of the 2024-25 season. "I'm feeling good physically and mentally. Le Gym and the coach have faith in me. It's up to me to do everything I can to make my mark and help the team achieve its goals. I'm determined and very motivated, and I'm looking forward to this season with a lot of ambition, both as a team and on a personal level."
