The first medical update of the 2024-25 season

With Le Gym back at it in L1 on Sunday in Auxerre (3pm), Franck Haise gives an update on his squad in front of the press.

"Jordan Lotomba is back this week. He did two training sessions because he was ill at the start of the week. I think he'll be able to make the squad," explained the Aiglons coach.

"I hope that Youssouf will be able to resume training with the squad next week."

Jeremie Boga, Tom Louchet, Terem Moffi and Morgan Sanson are unavailable the same goes for Youssouf Ndayishimiye and Sofiane Diop. The Gym coach gave an update on the latter two, who are currently undergoing return to fitness programmes: "I hope that Youssouf will be able to resume training with the squad next week, with adjustments (or not), we'll see. As for the rest, I'm not really going to give you any deadlines and I'm not going to give too much general information. The goal is for Youssouf, who has worked hard these past few weeks, to be with us. Will he take part in 100% of the training sessions next week? I’m not sure. I hope he can take part in as many squad sessions as possible. Sofiane is training individually with one of our coaches. Things are moving forward. To get things feeling right, under the right conditions, you can’t take any risks when coming back to train with the squad. It’s better to take a bit of time, even if he, of course, is a little impatient. We need to give ourselves all the guarantees that he’ll come back under the right conditions.”

A reminder Melvin Bard will be suspended for the match at Abbé-Deschamps.
