History and Elegance: The Away shirt at the heart of Le Gym's 120th Anniversary

Le Coq Sportif and OGC Nice unveil the 120th Anniversary Away Shirt.

On July 9th, the club from the Côte d'Azur pulled out all the stops for its 120th anniversary. It was the perfect occasion to reveal the new Home shirt for the 2024-2025 season, which has won the hearts of both supporters and players alike. Today, the Away shirt is revealed, and it too is filled with numerous symbols. Trophies won by Les Aiglons, the names of all the players who have worn the OGC Nice colours, emblems of the club... Le Coq Sportif and OGC Nice present a collector's shirt to celebrate this historic anniversary and make those who wear it this special season proud.

In contrast to the Home shirt, the Away kit features light tones, with a dominant off-white colour - a shade that is part of Nice's historical and architectural palette - adorned with gold.

This gold colour enhances the shirt, adding character, reminiscent of the glorious years of the Riviera club. Beyond the colours, Les Aiglons will wear an Away shirt decorated with a host of symbols for their away matches:

  • The names of all the professional players who have worn the OGC Nice colours are inscribed on the body of the shirt. A beautiful tribute to those who have left their mark on the club and contributed to its history.

    The historic dates of the trophies the club has won: French Champions in 1951, 1952, 1956 and 1959, as well as the Coupe de France victories in 1952, 1954 and 1997. This record is inscribed on a sand-coloured patch on the left side of the shirt.

Just like the Home jersey, certain details characterise the Away shirt for this 120th anniversary:

  • The "Le Coq Sportif" and "OGC Nice" emblems on the chest, along with the "Issa Nissa" inscription on the back of the collar, appear in gold.

  • The asymmetry at the bottom of the sleeves, a trademark of Le Coq Sportif, has been replaced with a straight band, also in gold.

  • Finally, INEOS, the front sponsor, is also adorned in gold for this season. The final touch, highlighting the elegance and unique design of this shirt, is distinguished by a signature label embroidered at the bottom of the body. The club's name is anchored between the club's founding date (1904) and the date of this historic anniversary (2024).

  • Finally, a golden crown, a symbol of victories and a historic past, also sits proudly on this patch.

The products will be available for sale exclusively at the OGC Nice store, Place Masséna, this Friday from 10am. They will also be available for pre-sale on the official online store this Friday at 10am.
