The team-building session in pics

The Aiglons ended their first fornight of pre-season training with a team-building course in the Var, which provided a great opportunity to strengthen the bonds within the squad.

After leaving on Friday morning, Franck Haise’s men started their day with a short walk followed by a ‘via cordata’ on the rocks at Dramont (Saint-Raphaël).

The squad then headed to the sports facility at Boulouris, all decked out in the colours of the 2024 Olympic Games, where they took part in the ‘Gym’s Great Olympiad’.

The teams, drawn by lots, mixed players and staff members. They first went head-to-head in a ‘bike and run biathlon’ with precision shots followed by 2.5km laps, either on a bike or on foot.

After spending the night there, the events continued on Saturday. The staff highlighted strategy with an orientation race, mountain-biking, scooter riding, handball, basketball and table tennis all on the menu.

For the record, it was Sofiane Diop’s team that won after beating Melvin Bard’s team in a dramatic, title-clinching ‘rock, paper, scissors’.
