OGC Nice will celebrates its 120th anniversary on Tuesday 9th July!

For one day, Gym lovers are invited to celebrate the club from "the most beautiful city in the world", their own, in the most beautiful place in the world, the legendary Colline du Château overlooking the sublime Baie des Anges.

The tone has been set from the poster presenting the event. The illustration, with its vintage accents of 'la dolce vita', gives pride of place to the typical colours of Vieux-Nice. The OGC Nice flag flies over the Bellanda tower. And "I love Nice" becomes "Issa Nissa". Why on a weekday - with the festivities taking place all day on Tuesday 9 July from 11am to 9pm? Because it was 120 years ago to the day that the red and black club was born.

For a special occasion, there's an exciting programme: a free pop-up festival for all, an ode to simple pleasures, conviviality, food, fashion and music. Not forgetting the history of the club and the pleasure of football! It's a chance to take a break with family and friends. It's an unforgettable experience that combines a love of football with the art of living. An invitation to experience or relive our shared history and our inter-generational passion for an iconic club in the heart of the natural setting of the Colline du Château. It's a place that's rare enough when it comes to festivities to deserve a special mention, with its legendary stories and unchanging traditions, from the unmissable midday cannon to Sundays spent with family.

For this celebration, the Colline du Château will be welcoming supporters, local residents and tourists from 11am to 9pm. There will be football and Riviera based entertainment, local cuisine, an exhibition on the club's 120th anniversary, meetings with a number of former players, the unveiling of the new shirt, a show, presentations by the coaching staff and players, music, not forgetting a concert by Møme - another creative Niçois. There will be a celebration, symbolically, at 7:04pm, a reminder of 1904, the year OGC Nice was founded.

This special day is being organised with the support of the City of Nice in partnership with Le Coq Sportif and the Région Sud.

In the forthcoming 24/25 season, the 120th anniversary will be celebrated at every home Ligue 1 match, culminating in the match against AS Saint-Etienne on the weekend of 22nd September, on Ligue 1 match day 5.
