On Tuesday, Le Gym’s elite squad faced their counterparts from Brighton at the club’s training ground.  

As the senior team watched on, the young Aiglons and the Seagulls put on a real show, with an excellent, open battle, from which  neither side was able to come out on top   (3-3).

After a perfect ball from Telusson, Orakpo  opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, before doubling the scoring at the start of the second half, after winning the ball back high up the pitch (2-0, 51’). The English side then pulled one back in the 68th minute, equalised from the penalty spot in the 70th, and then took the lead in the 73rd (2-3).

With 15 minutes to go, Victor Orakpo once again popped up to get the equaliser (3-3). A second hat trick for the Nigerian in the space of a week, after the one picked up against Monaco’s Elite Squad.
