Le Gym play host to Lorient to open Ligue 1 Matchday 30 (kick-off 9pm CEST). Ahead of the game, we look at some of the personal histories connecting the two clubs.

LOTOMBA ANNOUNCES HIMSELF…

He joined Le Gym in summer 2020. Solid and consistent, Jordan Lotomba has scored just a single goal for the club so far, and it came against Lorient. On 23 December 2020, the left-sided defender played a one-two with Jeff Reine-Adelaïde before beating Paul Nardi.

… GUESSAND MAKES HIS COMEBACK

For Evann Guessand, games against Lorient are all about comebacks. In the second game of the season, there was a return to Brittany following his loan spell at Nantes, but also a goal to mark his return to Nice.

 

It was the first of his five strikes this season (four in Ligue 1, one in the Coupe de France).

ACM, A LORIENT PRODUCT

Alexis Claude-Maurice joined Nice from Lorient in 2019. He made 62 first-team appearances for them, scoring 19 goals and providing five assists. 

With the Gym, ACM has made 94 appearances, netting eight goals (1 this season) and tallying nine assists. 

TEREM MOFFI, THE last one in 

The last player to leave Lorient for Nice is Terem Moffi. He scored 35 goals for FCL between 2020 and January 2023 when he moved to the Côte d’Azur. He has played 46 times for Nice, scoring 19 times including 10 this season in Ligue 1.
