Diop's first call-up for Morocco, Todibo called up again, Boga also back
Jean-Clair Todibo and Sofiane Diop were called up to their national teams on Thursday. The central defender will once again be playing for France, while the attacker will be taking part in the Morocco squad for the first time.
Just over a month after his last visit, Jean-Clair Todibo will return to Clairefontaine early next week. Didier Deschamps confirmed his confidence in JC on Thursday. He will join Les Bleus for the third time, after the trip to Montpellier (this Friday, 9pm).
The Niçois may well get the chance to see Le Gym's vice-captain in action on Saturday 18 November, when France host Gibraltar at the Allianz Riviera (8.45pm). Three days later, Les Bleus travel to Greece (Tuesday 21 November, 8.45pm) to conclude their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign.
Called up by Walid Regragui, Sofiane Diop will be taking part with Morocco for the first time. "I'm going to do everything I can on the pitch to honour my country," said the forward, who scored against Stade Rennais last Saturday.
The Atlas Lions kick off their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with a match against Eritrea (Thursday 16 November, 8pm) and a trip to Tanzania (Tuesday 21 November, 8pm).
