Nine Aiglons on international duty: check out their schedule

Nine OGC Nice players are set to join up with their respective national teams during the international break. Check out their schedule below! 

UEFA: TODIBO, BUŁKA and LOTOMBA

Having earned his first senior cap on 12th September 2023, Jean-Clair Todibo has once again been called up by France head coach Didier Deschamps following the withdrawal of ex-Aiglon William Saliba, while Marcin Bułka, who was given his first senior call-up by Poland head coach Michał Probierz during the most recent international break, has also been brought back into the fold with his country. Finally, Jordan Lotomba, who has just passed the milestone of 100 Ligue 1 appearances with OGC Nice, features in Switzerland’s latest squad.

Thursday 12th October*: 

Faroe Islands v. Poland (EURO 2024 qualifier)

Friday 13th October:

Netherlands v. France (EURO 2024 qualifier)

Sunday 15th October:

Poland v. Moldova (EURO 2024 qualifier) / Switzerland v. Belarus (EURO 2024 qualifier)

Tuesday 17th October:

France v. Scotland (friendly)

*Having initially been scheduled for 12th October, the EURO 2024 qualifier between Israel and Switzerland has been postponed due to the current security situation in Israel. A new date will be confirmed in due course.

 

CAF: ATAL, BOUDAOUI, BOUANANI AND MOFFI 

Les Aiglons’ four senior African players will be in friendly action over the international break. The Algerian trio of Hicham Boudaoui, Youcef Atal and Badredine Bouanani are set to play one friendly on home soil, in the city of Constantine, and another in Abu Dhabi, while Terem Moffi’s Nigeria will be playing both of their matches in Portugal.

Monday 16th October:

Algeria v. Egypt (friendly) / Nigeria v. Mozambique (friendly)

YOUTH: DOUMBOUYA AND AMRAOUI

Amidou Doumbouya will be joining up with France’s U17s for a training camp, while Ayoub Amraoui is set to play a double header of friendlies for Morocco’s U23s: one against Iraq’s U23s on Thursday 12th October and another against the Dominican Republic’s U23s on Tuesday 17th October.
