New faces join the Rouge et Noir staff
Daniele Cavalletto, Felipe Sanchez Mateos, Osman Kul and Jarkko Tuomisto have joined the first team coaching staff. All of them have known Francesco Farioli, Les Aiglons' new manager, for many years, having worked alongside him in Turkey. Fitness Coach Jérémy Marec has also joined the performance unit. Daniele Cavalletto – ASSISTANT COACH
Daniele Cavalletto (46) will take on the role of Assistant Coach. Born in Padova, the Italian will be starting his 17th season as a coach this summer. In Italy, he worked in Serie C with Foggia, Pescara, Benevento, Arezzo, Trieste, La Salernitana, Lucchese, Gubio and Vis Pesaro. Le Gym will be his third experience abroad, after Olhanense in the Portuguese 1st division, and Karagumruk and Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig. In addition to his experience, Daniele has a degree in Statistical Sciences, which he obtained in Italy in 2001.
Felipe Sanchez Mateos – ASSISTANT COACH
A graduate of the University of Navarra, Felipe Sanchez Mateos (37) started out as an assistant coach with Osasuna's youth teams. In 2018, he moved to Qatar, where he joined the Aspire academy and the national youth teams. In 2019, he left Qatar for Ecuador, becoming assistant coach at Independiente Del Valle Juniors in the first division, and then head coach of the team when it was relegated. He moved to Turkey in 2021, where he became assistant coach at Karagumruk and Alanyaspor.
Osman Kul – VIDEO ANALYST
Osman Kul will take charge of video analysis. At 30, the Trabzon-born Turk already boasts a wealth of experience. After working for the Turkish FA, he became Galatasaray's match analyst from 2017 to 2020, where he worked with the club's first team and academy. He then went on to head up the video analysis department at Karagumruk and Alanyaspor.
Jarkko Tuomisto – GOALKEEPING COACH
Jarkko Tuomisto also joins the first team staff, where he will be in charge of the goalkeepers. In his homeland, the 48-year-old Finn coached goalkeepers for Hifk from 2008, then Honka and the U15 national team. After moving to Italy with Arzachena in 2014 (Serie D), he headed to Qatar, the Aspire academy and the U19 national team. He also moved to Ecuador (Independiente Del Valle) between 2018 and 2020, and spent a season in Romania (Viitorul) before moving on to Turkey, to join Karagumruk and Alanysapor.
Jérémy Marec – FITNESS COACH
Finally, Jérémy Marec (32) has also joined Le Gym. He joins the performance unit as a Fitness Coach. Originally from Brittany, he worked for Football Club de Sète between 2012 and 2018, and for Olympique de Marseille from 2018 to 2022, working in the pre-Academy, the Academy, and then in the first team.
