It's the stat of the day: Jean-Clair Todibo still hasn't lost a duel in 2023!

During the away trip to Rennes where the Nice defence was particularly in demand (2-1), Le Gym's number 25 had already come out on top in each of his 12 duels (including 5 aerial duels). He also stole the ball back from the opposition's feet on 13 occasions (the highest total in the match across both teams).

JC continued in the same light on Wednesday, against Montpellier (6-1). During the Nice victory at the Allianz Riviera, the Cayenne-born defender won his 9 duels faced during the encounter. He also won the ball back on 9 occasions, once again the highest tally of the evening.

In total, since the return of Ligue 1 on 29 December, the former Barça man has won 24 of his 25 duels. With 24 appearances to his name this season, the 23-year-old will look to continue his form  on Sunday at Reims, where OGC Nice will travel to conclude the first half of their league campaign (kick-off at 3pm).
