Coupe de France

Nice - Nantes final moved to Saturday 7 May

The FFF has just announced that the French Cup final between OGC Nice and FC Nantes has been brought forward to Saturday 7 May (kick-off at 21:15).

THE FFF PRESS RELEASE

"The French Cup final, originally scheduled for Sunday 8 May at the Stade de France, has been brought forward to Saturday 7 May at 9.15pm. It will be contested by OGC Nice and FC Nantes.

This decision was taken by the French Football Federation, in consultation with the clubs in the final and the broadcasters of the Coupe de France (France Télévisions and Eurosport). This decision by the FFF will make it easier for OGC Nice and FC Nantes fans to take part in the great celebration of football that the Coupe de France final represents.

The final was originally scheduled for Sunday 8 May, in case of a French club's participation in the UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League semi-finals, the return leg of which is on Thursday 5 May.

The elimination of AS Monaco, the only club among the four semi-finalists engaged in European competition, made this possibility disappear and made it possible to move the final to the traditional Saturday evening date.”

OGC Nice will soon be communicating useful information to fans wishing to go to the Stade de France.

As far as ticketing is concerned, a priority purchase system will be put in place.

  • Priority 1: Season ticket holders 21/22

  • Priority 2: Pre-season ticket holders 22/23

  • Priority 3: General public*
