Nearly 100 appearances under Claude Puel and Lucien Favre (92 games in all competitions from 2013 to 2017), and five goals, including a sublime backheel against Lille, Mathieu Bodmer did the red-and-black shirt proud. He helped keep the team in the top flight in 2014 and wore the captain's armband as he steered the side into Europe two years later.

No doubt those exploits will be fresh in his and the fans' memories come Wednesday's Coupe de France quarter-final against Marseille when Mathieu will be the guest of honour at the pre-match 'Raconte-moi' (Tell me) session at the Cafe des Aiglons at 7.45pm.
