OGC Nice is delighted to announce the midfielder has extended his contract with the club! 

Confidence, respect and ambition: the three ingredients that have led Le Gym to put their faith in Khephren Thuram. They're also the ingredients that have meant the France U21 international has decided to continue his career with the club. After coming through the Monaco youth academy, he arrived in summer 2019 and quickly made his debut in a 2-1 win over Nîmes on 17 August, 2019. Since, his upward trajectory has been constant.

Talented, industrious, a listener, valuable on the pitch and universally liked off it in both the dressing room and the offices, he has made 56 competitive appearances for the Rouge-et-Noir, scoring three times, the most recent on 28 August against Bordeaux.

Thuram counts on continuing his progress at the club having signed an extension that keeps him here for several years, an outcome that was on the cards for some time and formalised today.

"I'm very happy to extend my contract," said Thuram. "There was no doubt for me. I have improved and grown a lot with Le Gym, and I think that I can go further, so the choice was quite simple. It was the right decision to stay and extend my contract given I have good teammates, that the level in training is high, and that I have a coach that teaches me a lot of things. I think my first two seasons have been good, and the start of this one is promising. We have to keep going and go for even more. It'll only come through hard work. I'm here for that. I'm sure we can do great things together."
