Italian U-21 international Mattia Viti signed for OGC Nice on 3 August 2022.
At the age of 20, this tall player (1.90m) went from strength to strength at Empoli, his first club, with whom he played 22 games in all competitions during the 2021-22 season (including 20 in Serie A).
A strong left-footed player with a solid tactical understanding, the Tuscan discovered L1 and Europe with the Aiglons. Viti made 12 appearances for Le Gym between 2022 and 2023. He started eight games and scored his first professional goal against Troyes on 9 October 2022 (3-2).
