Biography

The 23-year-old Nigerian international, who has seven caps and two goals for his country, has become an established name in the French top flight with Les Merlus, having joined them in 2020 and made 90 appearances, scoring 35 goals, including 12 this season – the second-highest total in Ligue 1. Before moving to Brittany, Moffi plied his trade for KV Kortrijk in Belgium, following a spell in Lithuania with both FK Kauno Žalgiris and FK Riteriai.

The centre-forward wasted no time in making his mark on the red and black season. With 9 goals and 3 assists in 20 games, the Super Eagle finished the season as Gym's second-highest scorer behind Gaëtan Laborde. Moffi's exceptional scissor-kick in the first leg of their Conference League quarter-final against Basel (2-2) has already earned him a special place in the hearts of Nice fans.
