Childhood
Lenval Wednesdays
As part of the 'Youth work' section of its community policy, OGC Nice teams up with the Lenval Foundation in order to offer children in hospital unforgettable moments with members of Le Gym's squad.
On one Wednesday each month, Les Aiglons go out to meet with youngsters in hospital to share an afternoon of good humour and real pleasure. On the cards: small games of football, table-football competitions, room visits and the handing out of gifts, plus of course the traditional autographs and photos.

With the Fondation Lenval also having numerous units away from the hospital, some Wednesdays are also spent elsewhere to ensure that the maximum number of local children can experience these incredible moments.
The fondation Lenval
"To welcome all children, without consideration of their wealth, religion or nationality." That is the mission of the Lenval Foundation.
This goes hand in hand with quality of care, high-level teaching and a dynamism in terms of research. The Foundation's primary mission is to deliver treatment and to ensure the correct processing of social security paperwork. Thanks to the commitment of its voluntary administrators for the past 130 years and the efforts of each of its partners, Lenval is modernising and is adapting as paediatrics develop.
The Lenval Foundation is made up of 23 establishments across 15 sites between Menton and Cagnes-sur-Mer, including one paediatric hospital, health clinics and a Petite Enfance training centre. Each year, the Lenval sites receive almost 60,000 emergency cases and 15,000 hospitalisations, and the Foundation's surgeons operate on 5,000 children. Officially recognised as a non-profit organisation in 1893, the Lenval Foundation is able to receive donations and legacies.
