To watch a goal again from every angle and in just two clicks, to order a drink from your phone and to get free delivery directly to your seats in the stands, to not miss out on the numerous pre-match activities on offer thanks to geographical positioning. All of this will now be possible at the Allianz Riviera using your smartphone, starting on Sunday.

For the match against Bordeaux (Sunday at 5pm), a brand new ‘Stadium Experience’ app will be launched on iPhone (iOS) and Android.

“A football match is a pleasure. And it’s even more so when you see it live at the stadium. It comes from the pitch, but that’s not everything. There is everything else that goes with it. The atmosphere, of course. And we are spoilt in Nice. But also to have a concourse which comes to life several hours before kick-off, especially for the youngest members, with accessible prices for everyone, and comfort…. We also place a big importance on this” explained Jean-Pierre Rivère.

An extra service, on demand

According to the Gym’s President, “thanks to this application, we are using new technologies for the benefit of the supporters. To get excited in front of a thrilling move and then to be able to enjoy watching it back again in the calm at home in front of the television, to order and to be delivered in your seat without queuing, to make the most of live statistics… It’s an extra service, on demand. It wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration with the Allianz Riviera.” The project has been created and driven forward by the teams from the stadium and the club, to improve the service offered to supporters on matchdays. It takes advantage of the latest technological innovations and the possibilities offered by the Wifi HD network available at the Allianz Riviera and is available for free for all spectators.

“We are delighted with the collaboration with OGC Nice, which really underlines what the club strives to achieve in making its matches at the Allianz Riviera a real party for all Niçois, both young and old, before and during every match”, continued Patrick Florence, Managing Director of the Allianz Riviera. “From our side of things, we worked a lot on the technology and infrastructure, by putting spectators at the centre of our attention, to make the Allianz Riviera one of the most modern and innovative stadiums in France. This application constitutes an important stage in our desire to develop our collaboration with the club to improve the supporter experience, and this is only the beginning.”

The 2 main functionalities 

Live & Replay: The spectator has access through a telephone to a multi-camera live video stream of the encounter and behind the scenes. Thanks to the technological know-how of VOGO, a spectator can also rewind and pause a clip, a move, or a goal*.

Come to Me: Gone are the days of waiting at the concession stands. The supporters can now make an order (drink, foot and other products), pay online and be delivered at the time they wish, directly at their seats and without paying extra**.

And also…

Interactive map: entertainment, access, concession stands… everything is mapped out on an interactive map using the benefits of geographical positioning.

Statistics in real time: the minute by minute commentary by OGCNICE.COM is complemented by real time stats on the match and the players.

Ticket Office: the app allows supporters to buy tickets for upcoming matches.

*For reasons of TV rights, the Live & Replay functionality is exclusively available in the stadium, for people who are connected to the Wifi HD “Allianz Riviera”.
